Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ('Policy') governs access to and use of the ClearSea website, applications, artificial intelligence platform, and related technologies, including ClearSea Discover, ClearSea Command, ClearSea Flow, and all related services, interfaces, and tools (collectively, the 'Services'). This Policy establishes standards for responsible, lawful, and ethical use of the Services and is designed to protect the security, integrity, and reliability of the ClearSea platform.
Artificial intelligence technologies have the potential to enable powerful capabilities, including automated reasoning, software development assistance, research analysis, and collaborative workflows. At the same time, misuse of these technologies can create risks to individuals, organizations, and society. For this reason, ClearSea requires all users to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy when accessing or using the Services.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this Policy. This Policy forms part of the ClearSea Terms of Use and applies to all users, including individuals, developers, organizations, and enterprise customers.
1. Purpose and Scope
The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy is to establish guidelines that ensure the ClearSea platform is used in a responsible manner that aligns with applicable laws, ethical standards, and industry best practices for artificial intelligence systems.
This Policy applies to all activities conducted through the Services, including interactions with AI systems, generation of content or code, development of workflows or automated processes, integration with third-party tools, and any other use of the platform's capabilities.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Services complies with this Policy and that any outputs generated through the platform are used in a lawful and responsible manner.
2. Compliance with Applicable Laws
Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when accessing or using the Services. The Services may not be used to facilitate, promote, or engage in activities that are unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.
Prohibited conduct includes the use of the Services to violate intellectual property laws, data protection regulations, consumer protection laws, financial regulations, or any other applicable legal requirements.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Services complies with all relevant legal obligations within their jurisdiction, including regulations governing data protection, cybersecurity, export controls, and intellectual property.
If ClearSea becomes aware that the Services are being used in connection with unlawful activities, ClearSea reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform and may cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law.
3. Prohibited Content
Users may not use the Services to generate, distribute, promote, or facilitate the creation of content that violates this Policy or applicable laws.
Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to, content that is illegal, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful to individuals or communities. This includes content that promotes violence, harassment, discrimination, or unlawful activities.
Users may not generate or distribute content that encourages criminal conduct, facilitates illegal transactions, or provides instructions for engaging in unlawful activities.
The Services may not be used to generate deceptive content intended to impersonate individuals or organizations, spread misinformation, or manipulate individuals for fraudulent purposes.
ClearSea may implement automated or manual monitoring mechanisms designed to detect and prevent the generation or distribution of prohibited content.
4. Protection of Individuals and Communities
Users may not use the Services in ways that harm individuals, groups, or communities. The platform may not be used to engage in harassment, intimidation, or abusive conduct toward others.
Prohibited activities include generating content intended to threaten or intimidate individuals, targeting individuals with abusive messages, or engaging in behavior designed to cause psychological, reputational, or emotional harm.
Users must respect the privacy and dignity of others when interacting with the platform and may not use the Services to collect, disclose, or exploit personal information without appropriate authorization.
5. Misuse of Artificial Intelligence Systems
ClearSea provides advanced artificial intelligence capabilities that allow users to generate content, analyze data, and automate tasks. These capabilities must not be used in ways that cause harm or undermine trust in digital systems.
Users may not use the Services to generate manipulated media, synthetic content, or automated messaging intended to deceive individuals or misrepresent reality. This includes the creation of deepfake media designed to impersonate individuals or mislead audiences.
The platform may not be used to create automated systems that impersonate individuals or organizations without proper authorization.
Users may not deploy ClearSea systems to automate large-scale disinformation campaigns, spam operations, or other manipulative practices intended to influence individuals or communities in deceptive ways.
ClearSea may implement safeguards designed to detect and prevent harmful uses of artificial intelligence technologies.
6. Cybersecurity and System Integrity
Users may not attempt to compromise the security, integrity, or reliability of the Services. Prohibited actions include attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data associated with the platform.
Users may not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the platform without authorization. Attempts to bypass security mechanisms, reverse engineer system components, or exploit software vulnerabilities are strictly prohibited.
The Services may not be used to generate or distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious software designed to disrupt or damage digital systems.
Users may not use automated tools in ways that degrade platform performance or interfere with the ability of other users to access the Services.
7. Responsible Development and Automation
ClearSea Command and ClearSea Flow provide tools that enable users to generate code, build workflows, and automate processes. Users must ensure that software and automated systems created using the Services are deployed responsibly and do not create risks to individuals, organizations, or digital infrastructure.
Users are responsible for reviewing and validating any code, scripts, workflows, or system configurations generated by the platform before deploying them in production environments.
ClearSea does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated code or recommendations, and users must exercise appropriate judgment and testing before relying on such outputs.
8. Intellectual Property Protection
Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others when using the Services. The platform may not be used to reproduce, distribute, or generate content that infringes upon copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets.
Users must ensure that any materials submitted to the Services, including documents, code, or other content, are used in compliance with applicable intellectual property laws.
ClearSea reserves the right to remove or restrict access to content that appears to infringe intellectual property rights.
9. Abuse, Fraud, and Deceptive Practices
Users may not use the Services to engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive conduct. This includes activities such as phishing, identity theft, impersonation, financial scams, or other schemes designed to deceive or exploit individuals.
The platform may not be used to generate misleading communications intended to manipulate individuals into revealing personal or financial information.
Users must not attempt to use the Services to bypass security safeguards or conduct activities designed to exploit vulnerabilities in digital systems.
10. Monitoring and Enforcement
ClearSea reserves the right to monitor usage of the Services in order to maintain platform security, detect violations of this Policy, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
If ClearSea determines that a user has violated this Policy, ClearSea may take enforcement actions including issuing warnings, restricting access to certain features, suspending accounts, or permanently terminating access to the Services.
ClearSea may also remove or restrict access to content that violates this Policy or poses risks to users or the platform.
11. Cooperation with Legal Authorities
ClearSea may cooperate with law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, and other appropriate entities when required by law or when necessary to investigate violations of this Policy.
Such cooperation may include providing information relevant to investigations involving unlawful activities conducted through the Services.
12. Reporting Violations
Users who become aware of conduct that violates this Acceptable Use Policy are encouraged to report such activity through ClearSea's reporting mechanisms. ClearSea will review reports and take appropriate action when necessary to address violations and maintain a safe platform environment.
13. Updates to This Policy
ClearSea may update this Acceptable Use Policy periodically to reflect evolving technologies, legal requirements, and industry standards for responsible AI use.
When updates are made, the revised policy will be published with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
